Make transcriptions easier to navigate to
It's hard to find where my Script Requests are.
"Your Audio Requests" is in the top bar, from the rhinospike.com page. To get to my Script Requests, though, I have to click on the silhouette in the corner, then "View Profile" or "Account" (I can never remember which it is -- they both seem synonymous to me), and then click the "Script Requests" box in the middle of the page, right below the field that says how many comments I've written (zero).
It also shows me, with equal priority, the list of things I've transcribed for others, including a bright blue "Read" button. (I don't know what the color codes mean on rhinospike.com but the "Next" button on this feedback form is blue, and all the default buttons on my Mac are blue, so I generally assume it means "click here.") Why would I ever want to read something I myself transcribed in a language I already speak? There's even a link below it that says "VIEW ALL THIS USER'S TRANSCRIPTIONS," i.e., my own transcriptions.
I think that transcriptions are potentially the most useful feature on rhinospike, and I was delighted to see them added. Unfortunately, the feature is pretty confusing, and there doesn't seem to be critical mass of transcribers here yet. Maybe these things are related.
